SUBSTANCE: unit for making holes in eggs contains a base with a stand for placing eggs in it, as well as a means for making a through hole in the egg in order to empty the contents of the egg. According to the invention, the stand is made in form of a turntable with the possibility of its rotation around the rotary axis by means of an electric motor fixed on the base. The turntable is made in form of two lower and upper parallel plates connected by means of bars with coaxial holes made in them, located in a circle around the axis of rotation of the table. Eggs are installed on the bottom plate and supported by the top plate to prevent lateral movement, and the hole making tool is made in form of a laser machine installed on the vertical stand of the base and cutting out part of the shell along a closed path using a laser beam. The laser unit is equipped with guides, drive screws, driven by electric motors, as well as a control system.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the edges of the shell opening and a significant reduction in the number of faults when making a hole in eggs.
