FIELD: air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for air purification. The device (1) comprises a grounded honeycomb structure (2) having a plurality of hexagonal holes (5), with the honeycomb structure (2) resting on a frame, a plurality of ionizing needles (4) located downstream of the honeycomb structure (2), with each needle (4) coaxially aligned with the corresponding central axis of the hole (5) of the honeycomb structure (2), and a plurality of collector plates located downstream of the needles (4). The needles (4) are attached to the guides of printed circuit boards embedded in plastic structures in the form of aerodynamic profiles. The device (1) is designed with the possibility of generating an ionizing corona discharge using a positive ionizing voltage supplied to the needles (4).
EFFECT: low aerodynamic resistance, strength, simplicity and speed of manufacture.
