SUBSTANCE: cleaning device (1) of waste gas containing soot particles (2) includes at least the following: at least one ionising element (4) for ionisation of soot particles (2), at least one separation device (26) with surface separator (6) for deposition of ionised soot particles (2). Separation device (26) has at least two partially electrically conducting neutralisation areas (5) separated from each other and designed for neutralisation of ionised soot particles (2). Besides, conversion method of soot particles (2) of waste gas, in which different electrical potentials are used, is described.
EFFECT: high separating action for soot particles; cost-efficient production of the device.
