SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing, in particular scraping and grinding of sliding bearings used in rotating equipment of nuclear power plants. The stand contains a base with wheels and on the upper surface of the base, a fixed locking device for the holder of the thrust pads of the thrust sliding bearing, a rack for the thrust disc, a locking device for the thrust pads of the thrust sliding bearing, which has sockets for placing the thrust pads, and a radial sliding bearing holder made with an internal arc surface. At the same time, the holder of thrust pads is installed on the locking device of the thrust pad holder, made with the possibility of placing thrust pads in its sockets, and the thrust disk is located on the mentioned rack, made with the possibility of using it for grinding thrust pads. The invention also concerns a method for scraping and grinding bearings using this stand.

EFFECT: use of the inventions makes it possible to expand the technological capabilities of the stand and reduce the processing time of bearings.
