FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: thrust bearing comprises rotor with thrust comb, stator, thrust blocks interposed between the comb and stator, and balls interposed between the thrust blocks and thrust face of the stator and locked against shift in the peripheral direction. Several balls are set in the grooves made in the thrust blocks from the side of the stator and bear on the other balls mounted in the grooves in the thrust face of the stator .
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
