FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic safety devices, namely, to improving the reliability of devices designed to prevent the flow of liquid from a high-pressure cavity to a low-pressure cavity during fast-flowing processes. The locking element in the form of a ball is made of a solid material, after which a layer of elastic material is applied to its surface. The support surfaces are spherical with a diameter at least 10% larger than the diameter of the locking element in the form of a ball. The edges of the holes in the fittings, coupled with the support surfaces, are rounded.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the reliability of the check valve.
