FIELD: building-up high pressures of medium being delivered in closed volumes. SUBSTANCE: check valve has body consisting of base and detachable cap which is secured to base by means of screws. Spring-loaded shut-off member is arranged in cavity of cap. Shut-off member is made in form of sleeve. Rod is tightly secured in central hole of sleeve bottom. Free portion of rod is mounted with a slide fit in inlet passage of seat. Seal is made from pliable metal and fully covers end surface of seat in closed position. Part of rod located inside passage of seat is provided with flats. Detachable cap is provided with additional side holes which are used for communicating the cavity of cap with discharge volume.
