SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a capping tool (1) for transportation for use in a packaging container (10) for bulk materials. The capping tool (1) for transportation comprises or consists of a laminate from the first layer (2) and the second layer (3). The first layer (2) is limited by the peripheral edge (4) of the first layer, and the second layer (3) is limited by the peripheral edge (5) of the second layer. The second layer (3) comprises or consists of a weldable material, and the first layer (2) has a higher tensile strength than the second layer (3). The first layer (3) has a line of weakness (6) forming a tab (7) in the first layer (3) and provided with a first and second reference points (6a, 6b). The reference points (6a, 6b) are located by the base (7b) of the tab (7) opposite to the gripping end (7a) of the tab (7). Each of the reference points (6a, 6b) is located at a distance d1 and d2, respectively, of 2 to 15 mm from the peripheral edge (4) of the first layer. The line (6) of weakness forms the first and/or second shoulder(s) (20a, 20b) of the line of weakness, extending from the first and/or second reference point(s) (6a, 6b), respectively, and along the peripheral edge (4) the first layer. The peripheral edge (5) of the second layer continues beyond the peripheral edge (4) of the first layer along the perimeter of the capping tool (1) for transportation, forming a belt (8) for welding the capping tool for transportation.
EFFECT: creation of a capping tool suitable for use in a packaging container for bulk materials.
