FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: acoustic geopolymer panel element containing a layer containing a fibrous component and a geopolymer binder made from a mixture containing crushed mineral wool and an additional layer containing mineral wool, wherein the layer containing a fibrous component and a geopolymer binder has a density in the range from 20 to 400 kg/m3, porosity in the range from 0.75 to 0.99 and thickness in the range from 5 to 75 mm. The crushed mineral wool can be crushed glass wool or rock wool, and the fibrous component can be a wood fiber component, a polymer fiber component, and/or a mineral wool component. In addition, a method for obtaining a geopolymer mixture as a result of recycling mineral wool, which is ground into powder and mixed with an alkaline activator component, is disclosed. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing an acoustic geopolymer panel element containing a step of grinding elements containing mineral wool to obtain a powder component.
