FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to production of a granular fertiliser. The granular fertiliser composition comprises granules formed from compacted potassium chloride, wherein said composition comprises potassium chloride (MOP) with the content of K₂O in the range from 48 to 62 percent by weight, a first boron source with a first solubility, wherein the first boron source constitutes sodium tetraborate, and a second boron source with a second solubility lower than the first solubility, wherein the second boron source constitutes colemanite (CaB₃O₄(OH)₃∙(H₂O)). The second boron source additionally comprises boron phosphate (BPO₄). The method for forming a granular fertiliser containing boron sources includes compacting the fertiliser composition and grinding the compacted fertiliser composition, forming fertiliser granules, wherein the first boron source is configured for faster release of the fertiliser from granules than the second boron source.

EFFECT: proposed granular fertiliser ensures uniform distribution of boron and delivery thereof to plants in the necessary low amounts.
