SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cargo container containing cargo for transportation. A cargo container for sea cargo transportation contains engagement sections located in four corners of each of upper and lower surfaces of a shell. At the same time, each of engagement sections is able to engage with a beam of a container crane. A wheel serves as a support for the cargo container and allows the cargo container to move. The wheel is able to switch between a running position and a loaded position. When in the running position, at least the lowest part of the wheel is located below the lower surface of the cargo container, and it serves as a support for the cargo container, allowing the cargo container to move, and when in the loaded position, the wheel moves inward from the lower surface of the cargo container, and the lower surface is able to come into contact with the mounting surface of the cargo container. The wheel switches between the running position and the loaded position each time the wheel moves down to a predetermined distance from the running position.

EFFECT: avoiding or reducing the need to load cargo containers, for example, on container ships, etc.
