FIELD: building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for erecting protective structures at open ammunition storage sites. In order to hide the piles (3) with the reserves, the masking cover is made in the form of a tent (4) made of rubberised tarpaulin with deforming colouring. Deflated supporting structures are placed on the pile (3). An electric air pump with a pressure sensor (6) is placed at a safe distance from the pile (3) and connected to the supporting structures (2). The tent (4) is stretched over the pile (3) with supporting structures (2) between the levee (1) and the traverse (2), the wires of the tent are secured on the outside of the traverse (8) and the levee (1), the pump is activated, and the supporting structures (2) are filled with air for natural rolling of meteorological precipitation.

EFFECT: level of protection of missile and ammunition reserves stored at open storage sites from negative anthropogenic, man-made, and climatic factors is increased due to the increase in the storage life, reduction in the probability of detection and damage.
