FIELD: explosive compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive compositions of multifunctional action and can be used in ammunition for various purposes, including ammunition with variable modes of operation. The composition is capable of functioning both in the detonation mode, forming the factors of high-explosive and fragmentation impact, and in the smoke generation mode, forming extended smoke screens. An explosive composition of multifunctional action includes a plasticizer - isopropyl nitrate, an explosive substance - trotyl, metallic fuel and a polymer with the following ratios of components, wt.%: plasticizer - 14-45, metallic fuel - 20-50, trotyl - 10-50, polymer - 0.2-10.0. An aluminum-magnesium alloy is used as a metal fuel, butadiene-nitrile rubber, a fluoropolymer or fluoroelastomer is used as a polymer. Additionally, the composition may contain nitroso compounds as a structurant and diphenylamine as a chemical stability stabilizer.
EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of explosive compositions for equipping various types of ammunition is provided.
