SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to measurement of aircraft speed in three dimensions. Method for three-axis measurement of air speed comprises stages, at which incoming forward and reverse high-speed air flows along three spatial axes are delivered to inlets of nozzles located in streamlined housing, flows are carried out through nozzles of supply of flowing jet self-contained generators with frequency output of pneumatic pressures, flows are output to the common chamber of all autogenerators and then the residual flow is output outside the housing through the outlet nozzle to the environment, the pneumatic frequency output is converted through its pneumatic electric converters into an electric frequency signal, it is fed in digital form of frequency value into microprocessor, vectors and angles of air speed are determined by difference of two values of speeds on different sides of housing.

EFFECT: simplified design of a system for measuring true air speed in three dimensions.
