SUBSTANCE: invention discloses apparatus for converting a continuous signal to frequency, having a measurement device with a quadratic (nonlinear) continuous output, characterised by that it also includes a fluid oscillator with a frequency output, connected by the input to the output of a differential manometre whose outputs are connected to the measurement device. The invention discloses apparatus for converting a continuous signal to frequency which is characterised by that the inputs of the differential manometre are connected to the output of a device for measuring elastic deformation. Disclosed is a device for converting a continuous signal to frequency, which is characterised by that inputs of the differential manometre are connected to outputs of a device for measuring approach stream velocity; inputs of the differential manometre are connected to outputs of the measurement device in form of a constriction device on a pipe.

EFFECT: linearisation of conversion from an input parametre to a frequency output.
