FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of oral care and pertains to an application of polymer particles for introducing agents for oral care into the oral cavity of the subject, as well as to a system and method for such introduction, a set of parts, and a composition for application in such introduction. Proposed is an application of one or more polymer particles for delivering an agent for oral care, wherein each of the particles has at least one geometric size equal to or less than 1.5 millimeters and has the smallest geometric size of at least 0.1 mm (wherein the geometric dimensions constitute the length, width, height, diagonal of the body, or diameter of said particle), and comprises a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) selected from the group consisting of crosslinked polymers based on sodium polyacrylate; a copolymer of polyacrylamide, a copolymer of ethylene maleic anhydride, cross-linked carboxymethyl cellulose, copolymers of polyvinyl alcohol, cross-linked polyethylene oxide, and a copolymer of grafted starch with polyacrylonitrile. The system comprises a first container for storing the above particles, a second container for storing the agent for oral care, and an applicator for interdental delivery of polymer particles containing the above agent. The set of parts includes a first part containing the above particles and a second part containing the agent for oral care. The composition for delivering the agent for oral care comprises one or more of the above polymer particles and the agent for oral care. The method for introducing the agent for oral care includes delivery of the above polymer particles to the oral cavity, wherein each particle comprises the agent for oral care. The size of the particles ensures easy delivery thereof to the interdental space.
EFFECT: significant increase in the volume of particles on contact thereof with saliva, due to the capability of SAP for absorbing water several times greater than own mass, prevents quick washing thereof from the interdental space, providing prolonged release of the agent for oral care.
