FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering. Proposed is a stripping apparatus containing a frame, installed whereon is a stripping drum, an auger, at the end sections whereof spirals with left and right coiling directions are made, equipped with a drum-covering fairing with a hydraulic system for movement thereof, wherein combs with teeth equipped with ribs for preserving the shape of the teeth are secured on the edges of the drum. The fairing is made in the form of a three-dimensional welded structure, the external and internal surfaces whereof have a streamlined shape. The drum is made in the form of two truncated decagonal regular pyramids connected by large bases to each other, so that the vertices thereof are aligned, wherein the angle of inclination of the face to the larger base is in the range from 1' to 1°. Guides are installed between adjacent faces so that the front part of the guide in the direction of rotation of the drum is aligned with the face, and the back part thereof is aligned with the point of attachment of the comb on the adjacent face in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the drum along the entire length thereof.

EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in the quality of stripping by reducing the losses of grain.
