SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering. According to the invention, the voltage of one battery is affected by applying a current load to the first battery or charging current to the second battery for a given period of time, so that the voltage of the first battery becomes lower than the voltage of the second battery. After the specified period of time, the current load or charging current is reduced, while the voltage of the battery being affected approaches the resting voltage of the other battery. When the voltage of the battery being affected is aligned with the voltage of the other battery, the batteries are connected in parallel.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of parallel connection of at least two batteries with different resting voltages at small voltage differences without the use of heavy and bulky structural elements.
