FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of sintered material based on hematite with different-level porosity. Nanosized powder is placed in graphite matrix in layers α-Fe2O3 and submicron powder α-Fe2O3 with total weight of powder from 1 to 6 g. Placed powders are formed at load from 30 to 45 MPa and consolidated by method of spark plasma sintering in temperature range from 700 to 900 °C at pressure from 10 to 20 MPa during from 3 to 5 minutes.
EFFECT: obtaining material of homogeneous phase composition with layer-by-layer pores sized 30–50 nm and 350–390 nm.
