FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanomaterials by powder metallurgy processes, namely, to production of electric arc plasma generator electrodes. Proposed method comprises joint compaction and sintering powder in plasma of spark discharge. Note here that copper nanopowder with grain size of 10-15 nm is used for compaction and sintering at 1000-2000°C for 4-10 min. Besides, alloy additives may be placed in mould. Said additives may represent nanopowders of zirconium and/or chromium, and/or silver with grain size of 10-20 nm.

EFFECT: improved properties of electrodes.
