SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction materials industry, namely to the production of structural and thermal insulation and thermal insulation building products, for example, wall blocks and thermal insulation boards, using rice processing waste and a binder. The method for production of structural and heat-insulating building products based on rice husks includes the preparation of a raw mixture of a binder and a pre-prepared filler from rice husks, mixing, feeding of the raw mixture, molding by pressing in molding equipment, treatment of the mixture with carbon dioxide, stripping of finished products, and the rice husk is pre-processed by grinding to a specific surface area of 1200-1400 cm2/g, soaking for 120 minutes until the humidity reaches 60% in mass and in an amount of 70-85 wt. %, is mixed with quicklime in an amount of 15-30 wt. %, in terms of Ca(OH)2, or lime-containing waste in the form of lime dust composition, wt. %: quicklime 15, slaked lime 35, fine limestone 50, as a binder in an amount of 35-50 wt. %, by dry matter is mixed with the specified filler in an amount of 50-65 wt. %, kept in the mixer for 60 minutes after mixing, compaction of the mixture is carried out on a hydraulic press in a mold under a pressure of 4.0 MPa, hardening is carried out by forced carbonation with carbon dioxide concentration of 10-95% for 6-8 minutes.

EFFECT: development of a new resource-saving technology that makes it possible to dispose of large-tonnage waste without harm to human health without the use of energy-intensive disposal methods while maintaining the strength and thermal characteristics of products, increasing their biostability.
