FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular to development of oil deposits with cross flows of water and/or oil from different levels. Method for development of oil deposit with inter-formation cross-flows, including extraction of oil through production wells, water injection through injection wells, measurement of fluid production, its water cut and oil production in the productive formation, detection of wells producing excess water, wells watering sources. A set of measures is taken at production and injection wells to limit water cross-flow through the bridge between the water-bearing and oil formations. During construction of wells, cores are taken. Investigations of cores from selected wells located in the area of flooding in laboratory conditions determine the interval of required pressures and time of such action, at which elimination of cracks in the bridge, through which water flows occur, but at the same time the properties of the reservoir of the productive formation are not deteriorated. Hydrodynamic calculations determine the pressure interval and exposure time for each of the selected wells to act on the bridge with the required pressure, in each of the selected wells, intensive extraction of formation fluid is carried out in accordance with the design pressure intervals with the subsequent time delay for the effect of the required pressure to ensure the elimination of cracks in the bridge, through which water flows occur, without deterioration of reservoir properties of productive formation. After that injection wells are transferred for water injection, and production wells — for oil extraction.

EFFECT: simplification of development method of oil deposit with inter-formation cross-flows due to elimination of cross-flows from one formation to another using only hydrodynamic action.
