FIELD: cables.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a device for connection of cores of a geophysical cable to a downhole instrument. Method for connection of cores of geophysical cable packed in flexible tubing to downhole instrument consists of two stages. First stage is carried out in conditions of the base and consists in removal of the projecting element of the internal longitudinal seam of the coiled tubing with the packed geophysical cable to the length of the sealed section of the adapter. Small-size elements are assembled, passing through the injector hole, forming a small-size link. Adapter is tightly installed on the prepared place, coiled tubing is squeezed around the adapter, a cone, an oil sealer and a sealing assembly of the geophysical cable are successively installed in the adapter. Cores of the geophysical cable are passed in stages along the axial hole of the adapter, cone, sealer of oil and sealing assembly. Contact sealing assembly is mounted. Second stage is carried out at the mouth of the investigated well. Coiled tubing is installed, small-size link is passed through coiled tubing injector, after which additional shell is put on it, it rises above sealing unit, a die is inserted into the prepared slot. Additional shell is lowered, fixed by the die and attached to the adapter, which is preliminary connected to the geophysical instrument.
