FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing hydrocarbons. Described is a method of producing light olefins and aromatic hydrocarbons from residual hydrocarbon streams, involving: a) subjecting the residual hydrocarbon stream to catalytic cracking, followed by fractionation into a C3-C4 stream, light cracked naphtha, heavy cracked naphtha, light recycled gas oil and clarified oil, b) separating the C3-C4 stream into a propylene-containing stream and a butylene- and pentene-containing stream, c) subjecting the butylene- and pentene-containing stream to metathesis and separation to produce propylene and hexenes, wherein the hexenes are aromatized to produce benzene and alkyl-substituted benzenes and an unconverted stream, d) selectively hydrogenating cracked light naphtha to produce a selectively hydrogenated stream containing olefins and saturated hydrocarbons, e) selectively hydrogenated stream is subjected to extractive distillation using a solvent to form an extract stream containing aromatic compounds together with sulphur compounds, and a raffinate stream containing olefins, and the extract stream is hydrotreated to obtain a stream, f) combining heavy cracked naphtha together with streams of liquid hydrocarbons boiling in the range of C5-210 ºC from a delayed coking unit in a reactor with a circulating fluidised bed for fractionation into a dry gas, a stream of C3-C4, streams of liquid hydrocarbons boiling in the range of C5-70 ºC , 70-170 ºC and 170 ºC+, g) light recycled gas oil is hydrotreated to produce an intermediate stream, h) hydrocracking an intermediate stream to produce a hydrocracked stream, which is fractionated into additional products, i) clarified oil is hydrotreated to produce a hydrotreated stream, wherein the hydrotreated stream is fed into a delayed coking unit for producing lighter products and needle coke, wherein lighter products are gases, streams of liquid hydrocarbons boiling in the range of C5-210 ºC, and diesel fuel, wherein the method gives output of light olefins in range of 11–15 wt. % and aromatic compounds in range of 15–21 wt. %, wherein wt. % are related to residual flow of hydrocarbons. Described is a system for implementing the method described above.
EFFECT: high output of light olefins of aromatic hydrocarbons.
