FIELD: petrochemicals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for converting high-sulfur fuel oil into petrochemical products, which includes hydrocracking of high-sulfur fuel oil in a fuel oil hydrocracking unit containing a fluidized bed or a suspended catalyst bed to form a cracked fuel oil stream. The method also includes the steps of dividing the cracked fuel oil stream into a light fraction and a heavy fraction, hydrocracking the light fraction at a distillate hydrocracking unit with the formation of a cracking stream, dividing the cracked stream into a hydrogen fraction, a light hydrocarbon fraction, a light naphtha fraction and a heavy naphtha fraction; reforming the heavy naphtha fraction to obtain a reforming stream containing hydrogen and at least one of benzene, toluene and xylenes, and steam cracking the light hydrocarbon fraction and/or light naphtha fraction to obtain a steam cracker effluent containing at least one of ethylene, propylene, benzene, toluene and xylenes. The hydrocracking of high sulfur fuel oil is carried out at a temperature in the range of about 360 °C to about 460 °C, and the pressure in the distillate hydrocracking reaction zone is in the range of about 70 bar to about 230 bar. The invention also relates to a method for converting high sulfur fuel oil into petrochemical products. The invention also relates to systems for converting high sulfur fuel oils into petrochemical products.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining raw materials (naphtha) of proper quality for the production of petrochemical products, as well as in the combination of installations, and, accordingly, in the simplification of the processing system.
