SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of controlling energy consumption in a vehicle. Technical result is achieved by determining the current position and speed of the vehicle on the section of the path within the pre-formed energy-efficient track, wherein track comprises design position and design speed on track section; comparing the current speed of the vehicle with the design speed; generating a control signal for displaying graphic elements corresponding to match or mismatch of current speed with said design speed.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption of a vehicle on a specific section of the track, as well as enabling control of power consumption by a vehicle and high accuracy of providing information on power consumption by a vehicle.
