FIELD: beekeeping.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to beekeeping, in particular to a method for preventing swarming of a bee colony. Method of non-swelling beekeeping includes stages of spring development of bee family, filling of one housing of beehive with Dadant frames with bee family, installation of an auxiliary housing of the beehive with Dadant frames, control of brood, bee and honey. After brood at least two Dadant frames of the auxiliary housing of the beehive with a bee family, a barren queen is placed in the hive notch. After that, three days later, the bee colony and the state of brood of the old queen are controlled, and on 15–17th day from the exit of the barren queen from the queen cell, the old queen is searched in front of the hive. Then, three days later, the brood of a new young queen is monitored.
EFFECT: simplification of the swarming prevention method and reduction of labor intensity due to the replacement of the old queen with the queen of this year without removing the housing, without rearranging the beehive, without interruption in egg-laying and without stress for bee family, as well as increase of honey yield by 30 %.
