FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to a method for breeding mosquitoes of the Aedes flavescens species on nutrient media in laboratory conditions. The method is characterised by the fact that in breeding of mosquitoes, feed is used in the form of a powder made from daphnia, gammarus, boiled autoclaved liver, raw meat, or boiled meat.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides a possibility of achieving high survival rate and viability of mosquito larvae.
