SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical treatment of flexion contracture of wrist joint in patients with infantile cerebral paralysis. Surgical approach is performed along the ulnar surface of the hand to the fifth metacarpal bone, to the wrist bones and ulna. Then the metal structure in the form of a plate with angular stability with six screws is installed in the ulnar, radial bone, wrist bones and metadiaphyseal area of V, IV, III and II metacarpal bones and fixing the wrist joint in the middle position, and the forearm in the middle rotational position of the hand.
EFFECT: method provides for higher functionality of upper extremity by temporary fixation of wrist joint with bone plate.
