FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical treatment of pronation contracture of the forearm in patients with cerebral palsy. A plate is installed longitudinally at the site of osteotomy after eliminating the pronation contracture. The proximal part of the plate is therein screwed to the radius proximal to the site of osteotomy, and the distal plate is inserted intramedularly into the radial metaepiphysis. Fixing screws are then passed through the holes in the plate and both cortical layers of the radius.
EFFECT: method provides a possibility of increasing the stability of osteosynthesis due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
