FIELD: liquid handling.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of nipples for use with a container for accommodating a fluid medium for feeding children. The nipple for use with a container for accommodation of a fluid medium comprises: a deformable mouthpiece for sucking by an infant in the course of the action of ingestion of the fluid medium, wherein at least one hole is made in the mouthpiece to ensure the release of the fluid medium from the nipple, and an internal core located in the mouthpiece. The outer surface of the inner core is located at a distance from the inner surface of the mouthpiece at the location of the guiding side for the pocket for the fluid medium of the outer surface of the inner core, extending along the length of the inner core so as to form a channel for the fluid medium between the mouthpiece and the inner core, providing the possibility for the infant to perform the peristaltic action of ingestion of the fluid medium, wherein the mouthpiece is deformed and the fluid medium is forcibly passed through the channel for the fluid medium in the direction to said at least one hole in the mouthpiece. At least one hole is located in the central front area of the mouthpiece, and the mouthpiece and the inner core are made so as to leave space in between for the flow path of the fluid medium from the guiding side for the pocket for the fluid medium to said at least one hole. The front part of the guiding side for the pocket for the fluid medium is deflected upward relative to the inclination of the connected area of the guiding side for the pocket for the fluid medium, located closer to the back part when viewed in the longitudinal direction to said at least one hole. Also disclosed is an assembly containing a nipple and a container for accommodating a fluid medium.

EFFECT: group of inventions prevents blocking at least one hole of the mouthpiece with the tongue or palate of an infant or the inner core in the course of the action of ingestion of the fluid medium.
