SUBSTANCE: method is usually applied in the field of artificial feeding. A nipple (1) is proposed for use with a container for containing liquid, consisting of a hollow body (10) of the nipple, including a deformable hollow mouthpiece (11), from which it is possible for the user to suck the nipple during the action of consuming the liquid in order to displace the liquid in the direction downstream through the nipple body (10) and out of the nipple through the mouthpiece (11), and a valve (30) located at the level of the mouthpiece (11) or at a level that is further downstream. The valve (30) is configured to open under the action of suction forces applied to the mouthpiece by the nipple user during the liquid consumption action, and is included in the passage section (32) of the valve body of the valve, which is designed and configured to prevent changes in the closed-open state of the valve under the influence of deformation of the mouthpiece caused by the user of the nipple during the act of consuming the liquid. The valve body comprises at least two parts of different stiffness, wherein the valve body is thus configured to prevent or at least hinder the transfer of compression forces applied to the mouthpiece by the nipple user during the liquid intake action from the valve body (10) part outside the flow area (32) of the valve to the flow area of the valve; and/or wherein the valve body (10) comprises a transition area (35) and is connected to the mouthpiece (11) by means of the transition area (35), wherein the valve body (10) has a stiffness different from that of the mouthpiece at least in the position of the transition area (35), wherein the transition area (35) is thus configured to prevent or at least impede transmission from the mouthpiece to the valve body of compression forces applied to the mouthpiece by the nipple user during the act of consuming the liquid. The feeding bottle assembly comprises the nipple described above and a liquid container.
EFFECT: invention implements a feeding process that is similar to the breastfeeding process.
