SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a nipple and a feeding unit. Disclosed is a nipple (10) for use with a container (71) for a fluid medium comprised of a deformable tip (14), wherein the tip (14) has at least one hole (12); an inner shaft (20) located within the tip (14), wherein the outer surface (21) of the inner shaft (20) is distanced from the inner surface (16) of the tip (14) so that a pathway (30) for a fluid medium is formed between the tip (14) and the inner shaft (20), wherein at least one of the inner surface (16) of the tip (14) and the outer surface (21) of the inner shaft (20) has at least one protrusion (23) located and configured to form a barrier for the fluid medium between the tip (14) and the inner shaft (20). Also disclosed is a feeding bottle unit comprising said nipple (10) and a container for a fluid medium (71).

EFFECT: group of inventions prevents backflow of a fluid medium in the nipple.
