FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to immunology, obstetrics, reproductive medicine, therapy, pediatrics. The method for determining the degree of energy supply of immunocompetent blood cells (ICC) by means of flow cytometry with determination of the percentage of ICC with a reduced membrane potential of mitochondria consists in the fact that a comprehensive assessment of the condition of the immune system is conducted. The indicators of lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes are therein used as immunological indicators, determining the percentage of ICC: lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes with a reduced membrane potential of mitochondria, and in comparison with similar indicators of blood samples of healthy individuals, deviations from the norm are determined: for the adult population: lymphocytes - more than 35%, granulocytes and monocytes - more than 5%, for pregnant women: lymphocytes - more than 40%, granulocytes and monocytes - more than 10%, for children: lymphocytes - more than 35%, granulocytes - more than 3%, monocytes - more than 5%. Depending on the combinations of ICC with deviations from the norm, the degree of abnormality of energy supply of ICC is determined: the first degree is a monovariant combination of ICC with a low membrane potential of mitochondria: lymphocytes, or granulocytes, or monocytes; the second degree of abnormality of energy supply of ICC is simultaneous bivariation combinations of ICC with a low membrane potential of mitochondria: lymphocytes and granulocytes, or lymphocytes and monocytes, or granulocytes and monocytes; the third degree of abnormality of energy supply of ICC is a simultaneous increase in the amount of cells with a low membrane potential of mitochondria of all types: lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of early preclinical, technically rapid diagnostics and comprehensive assessment of the degree of energy supply deficiency of immunocompetent blood cells in pregnant women, children, and other groups of the adult population.
