FIELD: medicine; neonatology; obstetrics; gynaecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict foetal growth retardation. In pregnant women with high-risk preterm birth at 22–34 weeks of gestation, the relative content of Perforin-positive cells in the pool of central memory cells with the CD45RA-CD62L+ phenotype in the population of CD8+ T-lymphocytes is determined in the peripheral venous blood. If the value is 34.5% or less, foetal growth retardation is predicted.
EFFECT: method improves the accuracy and expands the arsenal of tools for predicting foetal growth restriction in women with threatened preterm birth at 22-34 weeks of gestation by determining the relative content of Perforin-positive cells in the pool of central memory cells with the CD45RA-CD62L+ phenotype in the population of CD8+ T lymphocytes.
