SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an anti-runaway device 1 for a rail vehicle. The device 1 includes a shock-absorbing plate 2. On the shock-absorbing plate 2 there are several protruding first protuberances 3, parallel to each other, extending straight, and several protruding second bulges 4, parallel to each other, extending straight, which are oriented normally to the first bulges 3. Extension 5 of the second protuberances 4 on the surface of the shockproof plate 2 are less than the length 6 of the first bulges 3 on the surface of the shockproof plate 2. At points 7 of intersection of the bulges 3 and 4, the first bulges 3 have a recess 8, due to which the length 6 of the first bulge 3 is reduced.

EFFECT: lateral slippage is prevented.
