FIELD: conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: plate conveyor (1) for travolators (2) includes a rail mechanism formed by rail elements (29), having rails (24) and serving as a guide for plate conveyor elements (12) of the plate conveyor, a middle rail (21). Between the adjacent rail elements (29), essentially triangular recesses (32) are provided, which are limited by slats (41). Triangular or trapezoidal compensators (31) of length are inserted into these recesses (32) and pushed in so that the oblique edges (38) of the compensators (31) of length are adjacent to the edges (39) of the recesses (32) formed by the slats (41). The middle rails (21) of adjacent rail elements (29) are connected to each other by connecting parts (33).
EFFECT: adjustment of the length of the rail mechanism is provided.
