SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail transport, to car body of rail vehicle with such body base and rail vehicle with such body base. Carrier body rail base (1) has passage restricted by side walls (5, 6) passing in car body longitudinal direction (X), having recesses (7, 8, 9, 10), penetrated by corresponding parts of running gear, first of all, of turning carriage, axle and/or wheel, at performance of rotary motion by running part. Base has covering elements fixed on corresponding side walls (5, 6) and covering corresponding recess (7). Rail vehicle has car body containing device for car structure, having base (1).
EFFECT: higher comfort for passengers due to larger or maximum width of passage.
