FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for obtaining a diffusion coating on the surface of articles in a low-melting liquid metal solution, which can be used in various industries of machine building. Said device comprises a chamber divided into three zones. In the lower zone of the chamber there is a low-melting liquid metal solution. Above it, in the middle zone of the chamber, there is a layer consisting of a salt melt forming a zone for cleaning articles from traces of low-melting liquid metal solution and having a temperature specified for thermal treatment of the coated articles. Upper zone of the chamber forming the preheating zone of the coated articles is made hollow. From above the chamber is closed with a cover, in which a movable rod is fixed, which is made with possibility of vertical movement in the cover. Chamber is made of artificial graphite, and on its outer surface in areas of zone separation there are grooves filled with a heat-insulating substance. Each zone of the chamber is equipped with its own inductor for high-frequency induction heating. Inductor of the upper zone is made with possibility of water circulation in it and providing cooling of the upper zone. In the upper zone of the chamber there is a nozzle with a valve for supply of inert gas to it and a nozzle for removal of inert gas, which is made with the possibility of evacuation of the chamber.

EFFECT: improved quality and stability of properties of diffusion coatings and thermal treatment of material of article, reduced consumption of electric power and reduced duration of technological process.
