FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in general mechanical engineering and the tool industry. The device for diffusion metallization of products in a low-melting liquid metal solution contains a sealed housing 1, which houses baths 10 and 13, respectively, with a low-melting liquid metal solution 11 for diffusion metallization and a salt melt 14, which provides cleaning of products from traces of melt and heat treatment of the product material. Two storage-type sluice chambers are connected to the housing 1: loading 3 and unloading 4, vacuuming and filling systems of the housing 1 with inert gas. The housing 1 is made in the form of an extended parallelepiped and is divided horizontally by a heat-insulating partition 2 into upper A and lower B chambers. The loading sluice chamber 3 is attached to the lower chamber B along the edges of the housing 1 on one side, and the unloading sluice chamber 4 on the other. At the bottom of the lower chamber B there is a flat platform 7, in its middle part having a rectangular recess 8, in which heating devices 9 and 12, baths 10 and 13, as well as baths 15 for collecting traces of low-melting liquid metal solution 11 and salt melt 14 are placed. On both sides of the platform 7, wave-shaped support guides 17 are made to ensure the movement of the wheels of four technological trolleys 18-21, having a U-shaped cross-section, in the upper parts of which loading platforms 22 are placed for the covered products 23, and spacers 25 are fixed on the right ends of technological trolleys 18-21 in the course of their movement. In the support 5, located in the loading zone, there are pushers 26 and 27 for pushing trolleys 18-21 along wave-shaped support guides 17, which provide the covered products with movement, loading and unloading from the baths 10 and 13. In the upper part of the housing 1, a crane beam 28 is placed on supports 5 and 6 to move unloaded trolleys 18-21 to the loading zone.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of applying diffusion coatings to long products, such as pipes or augers, in mass production conditions, as well as increasing productivity.
