SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to processing of materials by cutting and can be used for retaining a cutting tool. The cutting tool comprises a tool retention system provided with a clamping part. The clamping part comprises an integral internal connecting element made in one piece, at least partially forming part of the clamping sleeve provided with a clamping hole configured for a cutting insert to be placed and clamped. The clamping part comprises an integral external connecting element made in one piece, located along a circumference around at least part of the internal connecting element. The tool retention system has an installation part connected with one of the internal and external connecting elements configured for gripping and non-detachable interaction with each other.
