FIELD: cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tool is made with the possibility of fixing in a case of a cutting insert with internal thread. The case contains a processing end and a peripheral surface of the tool passing from it. The cutting tool case additionally contains a non-threaded through connection hole of the tool opening to the peripheral surface of the tool, and a connection screw that has a threaded part. The connection screw is located in the connection hole of the tool and is made with the possibility of fixing the cutting insert. The case additionally contains a holding element that interacts with the threaded part of the connection screw at least when the specified holding element is not in contact with the cutting insert.
EFFECT: convenience of fixing and loosening of the cutting insert is increased.
