FIELD: earth digging machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to system for replacement of cutting member in earth drill in field conditions and particularly to system for replacement of drilling heads or/and reaming drill intended for taking earth samples. Tool is used for displacing cutting member along earth drill and replacing it in field conditions. Cutting member is formed by number of segments. Earth drill is provided with means for setting cutting member in working position. Tool has carrier on which segments for replacement can be installed. Tool can be brought in operation with ensuring sliding of segments relative to tool when tool passes predetermined position inside earth drill. In this case, one end of segments can pass aside of tool for engagement with setting means and can be held in cutting position. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 14 cl, 16 dwg
