FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mariculture, namely to cultivation of juvenile stages of sporophytes (zoospores, gametophytes and early seedlings) of Japanese laminaria in factory conditions. Method involves selection of mother thalluses with mature spore-bearing tissue in the first decade of September, zoospores of these thalluses contesting a rope substrate wound on metal frames, which is placed into growth tanks of the plant. Cultivation of seedlings is carried out for 25 days until reaching its length of up to 1.5 mm with gradual decrease in water temperature in growth pools from 14 °C from the first day to 10 °C to 20th day and maintenance at this level until 25th day of cultivation. Illumination is increased from 3000 lx on the first day to 17000 lx by 20th day and maintained at this level until 25th day of cultivation, the photoperiod is maintained from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm. Nutrient solution is added every 5 days while maintaining pH of 7.8 in the growing pools of the plant. Further, the seedlings are transferred to the sea and grown to the stage of commercial sporophyte.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain early seedlings more viable and reduce the length of their cultivation.
