SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mariculture, namely to the cultivation of zoospores, gametophytes and early seedlings of undaria brown algae in the factory. The method for cultivating seedlings of undaria (Undaria pinnatifida) is carried out within 65-70 days. The uterine thalli of undaria with mature spore-bearing tissue are taken in the second decade of July, dried for no more than 2 hours, the zoospores of these thalli challenge the rope substrate wound on metal frames, which is placed in the rearing pools of the plant, where the water temperature is gradually reduced daily from 17°C on the first day to 14-15°C by the 10th day and keep at this level until the end of cultivation. Illumination is maintained at 2000 lux for the first 40 days, then increased by 500-600 lux every 3-4 days, reaching 17000 lux by the 70th day. The photoperiod is maintained for 40 days from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, in the next 30 days from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm. for 100 hours of water, from the 41st day until the end of cultivation, a highly nutritious solution is added at the rate of 1 hour of solution per 50 hours of water. By the beginning of October, early seedlings are transplanted into the sea on plantations at a temperature of 14-15°C.

EFFECT: creation of an optimal mode of cultivation of the microscopic stages of the life cycle of undaria (Undaria pinnatifida) in the factory and obtaining viable seedlings by the period of favorable sea water temperatures for its further growth.
