FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to devices for fastening freight containers on platform cars. Retainer against vertical movements of containers comprises stop (1) fixed between brackets (2) of platform frame on its outer side. Locking device (1) has two holes (3) and slot (4), is fixed by means of a C-shaped bracket, one end of which is roller (6) with cylindrical head (7) on one end and locking pin (8) on the other end. Roller (6) in area of cylindrical head (7) has hole (9) for limiter of locking mechanism of T-shape, moving in vertical direction along slots of planks installed on one of brackets.

EFFECT: invention improves manufacturability of the retainer design, the installation of which does not require additional holes in the car frame, simplifies repair and maintenance.
