FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: LNG production plant 100 is formed from a set of container units 10 of natural gas liquefaction. Each container unit 10 of natural gas liquefaction can produce preset LNG amount, for example, up to 0.3 million of tones/year. Collector system 106 provides a connection between the set of container units 10 of natural gas liquefaction and at least raw material stream of natural gas 110, electricity source and LNG storage 92. The performance of plant 100 is discretely changed due to the connection of container units 10 of natural gas liquefaction to plant 100 or their disconnection from plant 100 using collector system 106. Each unit 10 contains its own liquefaction plant 12 containing a closed coolant circulation circuit SMR. The coolant in SMR circulation circuit circulates only due to the difference in pressure created by compressors for the coolant in liquefaction plant 12.
