FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is a system for rotating the rotor of a gas turbine engine relative to the stator casing, wherein the rotor comprises an annular row of blades. Said drive system comprises: a holder (100), the first end (101a) whereof is configured to retain the leading edge of the first blade of the annular row and the second end (101b) whereof is configured to retain the trailing edge of the first blade; an electric engine (110) containing a shaft and a body (111) secured on the holder (100); and a wheel (120) connected with the shaft of the engine (110) and provided with a rolling surface (121), wherein the wheel is positioned so that the rolling surface (121) can come into contact with the annular wall of the stator casing when the holder (100) is installed on the first blade.
EFFECT: proposed system is compact and is configured to be easily and quickly installed on a gas turbine engine so as to be safely manipulated by a single person.
