FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: present invention represents a heat differential engine which uses an internal heat exchanger to use waste heat from an external heat source at the inlet and perform mechanical operation at the output, unlike conventional gas turbine engines, such as jet turbines, internal combustion engines. Lavrentiev gas-turbine engine includes in its housing at least one fan comprising a set of rotating inlet blades which inject air into the engine; at least one heat exchanger placed in engine housing to power turbine, after fan; at least one set of rotating blades designed to extract mechanical work from air, moving through the engine rear part from heat exchanger, thereby acting as power turbine, which is connected to input blades wings for their rotation.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the rate of conversion of heat energy into useful mechanical work with minimum loss of heat/energy.
