FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to restore and maintain a balanced intestinal microflora, as well as to prevent dysbacteriosis in children and infants. Method for preparing a probiotic composition involves separate sowing of cultures of probiotic lactobacilli Lactobacillus rhamnosus and probiotic bifidobacteria Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium breve, into liquid medium MRS with subsequent thermostating of said cultures for 24–72 hours at temperature of 37±0.5 °C and with subsequent inoculation with thermostatic cultures of containers with liquid MRS agar and incubation for 48–60 hours at temperature of 37±0.5 °C. Then, said cultures are transferred into a fermenter and grown in a fermenter at temperature of 37±0.5 °C, pH 6.0–7.0 and an excess pressure in the fermenter cavity of 0.025±0.005 MPa, concentration of said cultures, addition of a protective medium, cooling of concentrates and their freeze-drying. Produced dry bacterial masses are combined and mixed with nutraceutically acceptable auxiliary components, followed by mixing until a homogeneous mixture is formed, and encapsulating or tableting said mixture.
EFFECT: obtaining a biologically active additive with minimum economic costs and time expenditures, with preservation of viability and useful properties of probiotic microorganisms included in its composition for a long time.
